On Boxing Day Carson turned 8 years old!! How is that possible??
Carson woke up early and seemed more excited to get working on his Christmas lego gifts then anything else. He spent the first half of his day at the dinning room table busy constructing a Star Wars enemy spaceship. In the afternoon we went to see the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks - the Squeakquel" (it was very cute and the kids laughed a lot).

Since everyone was full on popcorn, we didn't head out until after 6:00 for dinner at Red Robin. It was only then that Carson brought up his birthday gifts. I'm sure we would of let him open them earlier, but he seemed content on waiting!
With a DS, a new NeoShifter and some Pokemon cards, Carson could barely contain his excitement. He was a lot of fun to watch!
We can't believe Carson is 8 years old now. Seriously, where does the time go?
