While making breakfast for the kids this morning I was surprised to see a visitor at our hummingbird feeder. Normally we would have taken it down for the winter by now, but I'm guessing this little guy was happy we hadn't.
Needless to say I was surprised to see him out in the cold. I thought hummingbirds fled to a warmer/dryer climate in the winter. So I googled and found out our new friend isn't lost after all!!! :o)
I love hummingbirds! Apparently they are really attracted to bright flowers. What a unique and beautiful bird! Lucky you! We hardly see them around here!
