A Good Bottle of Wine...

Some time ago my Dad mentioned that wine labels were changing. The graphics were becoming bolder to attract the attention of consumers.

I thought of this when I purchased this wine a few weeks ago…



Then again when Sheri brought this bottle to bunco last Saturday…



Today when I was picking up a few groceries I walked past the wine area and I swear this label jumped out at me. I did a double take and just had to put it in my basket. :oP

This afternoon we spent sometime outside enjoying the sunshine at Laurelhurst Park in Portland.

Blue sky and sunshine!!!! We haven't seen much of either this winter, so we are enjoying every minute of it!!

Cupid's Weekend

Earlier this week Carson wanted confirmation that Cupid was not real. I’m not sure if he was scared of the potential pain cupid’s arrow might cause... or feared it would make him "fall in love" (which would be yucky, of course!). :o)

Al and I had a date night Friday and went to see the movie Avatar. Last night we had some friends over. The kids played, the men-folk talked business and the girls enjoyed a bottle of wine.

You know you have a true friend when you call her a bitch and she’ll laugh and raise her glass in the toast! :o)
