Before The Movie Started...

Last minute plans had Mona, Shawna, Erin and I headed out to see the late show of Bridesmaids at Cinetopia.  We had time to stop for a quick drink(s) before movie.

The place was a bit of a dive, but it had some impressive Karaoke.  Well, at least Mona thought so!!!

Cheers to a much needed Girls Night Out!!!

A Little Ice-Cream Party

This past Tuesday we took the kids out to Dairy Queen for some ice-cream.

Linus attempted to invite himself a long too.  :o)

If you haven't met Linus, he is "the neighborhood cat" (who was informally adopted by our entire neighborhood... and proudly I might add).  We don't know his history, but the rumor is his family moved and left him behind.  You can't help but love this cat.  My neighbors have even discussed getting him a collar with a tag stating he is owned by our street.  :o)  My family is one of many who feed and dote on this amazing animal.  Of course Linus loves his independence, but he will retreat to homes that let him inside when the weather turns bad.  He has it pretty good.

Webelo in da House!

Saturday was a busy day in our house.  After Katie's soccer game (posted below) we all headed out for an afternoon & evening of Boy Scout fun.

First up was the Raingutter Regatta, followed by a family picnic.  Carson didn't walk home with a trophy this year, but it didn't stop his fun.

Katie and I headed home after the picnic and missed the Cross-Over Ceremony.  Thankfully Al took some great pictures.  Check out our new Webelo!

After, Carson's troop headed back to their campsite where they spent the night.  The boys enjoyed a campfire with smores and apparently were up until 11 PM running around playing flashlight tag.  Carson was a tired but happy boy on Sunday!

She Kicks! She Scores!

Katie had her last Spring League soccer game this morning.  It was a close game, but the Fireflies came out a head at the end!!!  Katie scored a very impressive goal too!!!  It was a great way to end the season.  Katie has fallen in-love with soccer and she can't wait until the Summer League begins in a few weeks!

After the game, the girls were treated to some homemade cupcakes and awarded a medal.

Yard Sale!!!

Al and I held a yard sale today.  We would of preferred to have waited until our neighborhood's annual sale in June.  However the dates didn't work for us.

We got rid of a lot!!!  Most of it was larger toddler toys like Katie's Fishers Price kitchen and their old lego table.  The kid's are growing up and I am realizing that the older they get, the smaller their toys become.  DSi's and MP3 players do not take up as much room.  It was a little bitter-sweet for me to part with some of these items.  My kids on the other hand just wanted to know how much money they were going to make.  :o)

It was a refined evening full of fine classics...

It was a lot of fun to watch  The kids (as always) were very entertaining!

Hailey & Taylor

I just had to post these adorable pictures of my niece and nephew. They were all dressed up for a wedding they attended this weekend.  Katie and Carson talk about their cousins all the time.  We wish they lived closer!!!
