Webelo in da House!

Saturday was a busy day in our house.  After Katie's soccer game (posted below) we all headed out for an afternoon & evening of Boy Scout fun.

First up was the Raingutter Regatta, followed by a family picnic.  Carson didn't walk home with a trophy this year, but it didn't stop his fun.

Katie and I headed home after the picnic and missed the Cross-Over Ceremony.  Thankfully Al took some great pictures.  Check out our new Webelo!

After, Carson's troop headed back to their campsite where they spent the night.  The boys enjoyed a campfire with smores and apparently were up until 11 PM running around playing flashlight tag.  Carson was a tired but happy boy on Sunday!

  1. Awe, the first campout of the year! What does Webelo mean? Is that the name of his troop??

  2. Melanie, a Webelo is a level in Boy Scouts. Every fall they "cross over" to the next level. I think Carson started out as a Bear Cub in Kindergarten and then became a Wolf Cub and a Tiger Cub. :o)
