Walking the dog tonight, Carson and I saw the most beautiful rainbow.

Book Launch

We'll be heading to Winnipeg to attend the book launch next month.  I think the kids will enjoy seeing their Grandpa as a "celebrity" during the book signing!

High Green Belt

Last Saturday Katie tested for her high green belt!!
She had to perform her Form, 2 specific kicks, and break a few boards!

Pinewood Derby's Best of Show!

Carson's Pinewood Derby was this evening.

His car came in 3rd place within his Den!

The big surprise was winning the "best looking" (uniquely personalized) car!

Of course Carson had gone with the Angry Bird theme!

Carson has started tennis lessons - and he is seriously LOVING it!!

Great Wolf Lodge

We ended Spring Break this year with a 2-night stay at Great Wolf Lodge with some great friends.

Yes, even the adults were riding the slides! :o)

Last weekend we drove into Minneapolis to cheer the Minnesota Wild in victory over the LA Kings!

The Party

Saturday night Katie had her American Girl themed sleepover birthday party. 

I was able to find some American Girl sized party favors at Walmart and the Dollar Store (the crayons I found on Ebay)

Between the fashion shows (their dolls were the models), watching an AG movie and playing cops and robbers (?!?), they decorated their goodie bags

There were lots of giggles late into the night.

I think the party was a success!
