Wintler Park

Sunday afternoon we visited Wintler Park.

We had never been there before so we didn't know what to expect. Basically it is just a patch of sand a long the Columbia River. There are no walking paths or play structures in the area. However the kids had a lot of fun playing in the sand.

I suspect this is a popular place on a hot sunny day. Next time we will be better prepared with pails and shovels. :o)

We ended the afternoon with some ice-cream.
