One of the things I missed about "prairie living" was the thunder storms. I have been in Minnesota for 2 months and finally today there was some thunder! Not very impressive (as I've experienced much louder), but I'll take it.
Yes, I'm a little odd... but I've always enjoyed thunderstorms!
Oh, I don't know ... I was pretty impressed with the length of that rumble! Did you know I'm a "lightning" junkie? Hmmm, might explain 4th of July a bit ... but I digress. I collect photos of lightning. One corner of my office is devoted to them. As soon as there is thunder, I'm looking out the window! See, now we know why we're friends! ;)
