Carson will be walking in the 3rd Grade Cultural Parade this week. He was very excited to do his project on Canada.
He needed to write about 3 contributions Canada has made to the world. We came up with several options, and he picked the invention of the IMAX, the sport of basketball and the inspiration of Terry Fox.
The back shows the Canadian map and a star was placed where his family is from. The rest he could decorate any way he wanted. Carson picked national symbols like the beaver, maple leaf and the Canadian Emblem.
And this ends your little impromptu educational lesson on Canada :o)

I noticed he was Canada (maple leaf gave it away) in the group photos below. LOVE the board! He looks very proud of it. Maybe he should get a Mountie hat! ;)
