We hadn’t planned on going for a hike today. We were going to set up our new camping tent to gain some practice before next weekend and make sure it wasn’t missing pieces. The rain overnight that left the ground wet stopped those plans.
So we headed back to Camas and Round Lake to find another small waterfall that we had yet to visit. We got a little lost and because of that Al figures we walked for a good 3.5 half miles around Round Lake today!! The good news is the kids never complained!
The kids found a slug that they wanted to take home. They named him "sluggy" and were very disappointed when I said we had to leave him behind!
