This Halloween we went trick or treating with two of our neighbors; Helen (and her kids Daniel, Fredrick and Meredith) and Karen (and her kids Alli and Josh).

The kids fed off one another's excitement and they literally ran from door to door laughing the entire time. We were very fortunate weather-wise as rain had been in the forecast. It did start to get cold near the end of the evening, but overall it was the perfect night for all the super heroes and princesses. :o)
With all the excitement (picture the moms trying to keep up with the kids... reminding them to stay together... to say thank you...) I wasn't able to stop and take pictures of the houses decorated for Halloween night. I was able to get a few fun pictures though. :o)

Carson and all his candy... YES!!! That is all his!!!!
(As of 8:40 PM tonight Al has handed out candy to 133 kids)
What fair young maidens, and brave young warriors! :-) Holy smokes 133 kids? We only had 20!
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow, that's a LOT of candy!!! How long did it take him to get that much?!
ReplyDeleteWe were out for an hour and a half... I think the older kids would kept going but the younger ones (and the Moms) were ready to call it a night. :o)
ReplyDeleteHolidays are so great with kids! We only got two trick or treaters at our house. But we didn't get back home until after 8:00. The kids got 12 pounds of candy combined!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, could your kids get any cuter! How'd you get out in the day light? We didn't get our first trick-or-treater until 6:15pm, but we did end up with 262 (and that's a low number for us).
