(I used a template from Shutterfly.com and downloaded some Angry Bird clipart to create Carson's invitations).
Last night Carson had 5 friends sleep over and celebrate his birthday. I think Al and I were rather brave to take on 6 wild boys on sugar highs!
Video games, nurf guns and light sabers ruled the night. A movie quieted things just a little... but by 1:00am I found myself standing within their view until they finally settled down and fell asleep.
Everyone was up 6 hours later. I had to go to work, so Al and Katie were left to feed the boys some breakfast before their parents came to claim them.
The boys had a lot of fun and the house is still standing, so we can say the night was a success! In fact, one of Carson's friends asked Al if he could have his birthday party at our house! LOL!
How am I not surprised that a Brenda created party was a major success?!?! Love the invitation! Carson looks like he is in pure heaven ... angry birds, good friends, and ... a sugar high + nerf guns and light sabers ... always a good combo. Great job! :)
