This past weekend a few of my friends and I headed up to Rockaway Beach for the 4th Annual Mom’s Getaway!
The weather was beautiful, the junk food was plentiful and the cosmos/wine/beer were all tasty. Our bindies and hats were back (they are tradition after all) and a few of us even wore our Twilight shirts (shush – don’t judge!) :o)We spent a lot of time on the beach enjoying the sunshine and sand. We also planned to take on the local bingo players again this year…
However… we had two stragglers who didn’t arrive until early Saturday afternoon. Upon their arrival the drinks began to flow and our plans were quickly forgotten...
Our shopping trip never continued…
Dinner wasn’t served until 9:00 pm…
And a few of us were napping at 7:00 when bingo was scheduled to begin. :o)
During our time together we enjoyed many deep conversations and attempted to unravel some of the great mysteries of the world. Such as:

Was Erin successful in catching Saturday’s dinner?
What does Tammi mean when she says, “Camel toe kills hair”?
It was another unforgettable Mom's Weekend! Thanks girls!!
Looks like another fabulous weekend was had by all! Diggin' Mona's Beer Cozy, the sunglasses & hats, and all the great photos. Looking forward to hearing more stories.
