Who Knew?

A week ago I found myself in Winnipeg. My sister collected me off the plane and drove me straight to a Wedding Social. I hadn't been to a social in probably a decade!

While there Sully came up to me and asked his wife Jen to take a picture of us... so he could be on my blog!!!

Not only does someone actually read this thing, but they wanted to be on it!!!

Who Knew!?! :o)

Of course I was flattered, so thanks Sully for making my night. :o)

March of Dimes

Hi !

As you can see from the banner on the side of my blog, I will be participating in the March of Dimes Walk this year with my MOMS Club. This charity is very close to my heart since both of my children were born premature.

I have no family in Vancouver and no co-workers to hit up... so I don't know how well I will do in reaching my goal of raising $200, but I'm going to try! :o)

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend. Ours was a wonderful ending to an amazing Spring Break!

Saturday morning Al took the kids bright and early to Home Depot for their monthly kid's craft.

They had made this craft once before... in March of 2007. It is a butterfly catcher... we never had any luck catching one, however maybe the new ones will be luckier. :o)

Later Saturday morning we took the kid's to an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt. The rain stayed away long enough for them to fill their baskets. We also ran into a few friends!!

Saturday afternoon the kids got busy decorating their Eggs for the Easter Bunny.

There were a lot of happy face eggs this year. However Katie thought outside the box and attempted to leave a few messages for the Bunny.

The egg on the left said, "My Birthday is March 18"
The yellow egg on the right said, "Happy Day"

Late Saturday night when we were all fast asleep the Easter Bunny made a visit. The kids were so excited this morning!

We spent a few hours in the afternoon at OMSI.

Tomorrow the kid's head back to school... and we all return to the regular routine of daily life. I'm ready for it! :o)
