Arctic Front

They say an "arctic front" arrived over night.  I have other (not so child friendly) words for it....

Today

Much colder. Partly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny. Highs around zero. Northwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight

Partly cloudy in the evening...then mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow after midnight. Lows 5 below to 10 below zero. Southwest winds 5 mph shifting to the south after midnight.

Would you?

Would you drink some nasty looking brain juice?  

I wouldn't, but Carson claimed it was quite tasty!

Angry Bird-Day Party

(I used a template from Shutterfly.com  and downloaded some Angry Bird clipart to create Carson's invitations).

Last night Carson had 5 friends sleep over and celebrate his birthday.  I think Al and I were rather brave to take on 6 wild boys on sugar highs!

Video games, nurf guns and light sabers ruled the night.  A movie quieted things just a little... but by 1:00am I found myself standing within their view until they finally settled down and fell asleep.  

Everyone was up 6 hours later.  I had to go to work, so Al and Katie were left to feed the boys some breakfast before their parents came to claim them. 

The boys had a lot of fun and the house is still standing, so we can say the night was a success!  In fact, one of Carson's friends asked Al if he could have his birthday party at our house! LOL!
